My works are based on the idea that all things around me have their own soul and reason for being even though inanimate objects. It is similar to hylozoism. So my daily life is the most important inspiration in my works. Through my poetic and fantastic view of the relation between society and nature I express poetic and metaphoric works. These processes create two main steps: question and answer.
The first step of my work is the question. My theme about all things raises my main question ‘Where are you from?’ When I encounter all things around me, I ask this question. A lot of questions could exist in my daily life, for example, chair work. When I sit on the chair I ask it and myself, ‘Where are you from?’ I create a work which is a chair hanged on the middle of a tree. I ask the question everybody knows the answer, but nobody want to know.
The Second step is the answer. My answers to the questions sublimate transformation. I try to find my own answers through changing daily objects little bit not a lot. I am interested in natural phenomenon. I think that slow natural phenomena do not fight against fate and adapt themselves to fate. These poetic metaphorical combinations of natural objects with artificial objects around me make unexpected environments. I am also interesting in taxidermy because it is a natural object and a manmade object which is unmoving animal.
