Yarisal & Kublitz currently live and work in New York and Berlin. They have recently exhibited at the Wiesbaden Kunstverein in Germany, and Galleria Enrico Fornello in Italy. They are recipients of multiple awards and have completed artist residencies in New York and Toronto. They have been selected to participate in a Special Project section of the 3rd Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, curated by Elizabeth M. Grady.

The work is about transformation- It captures the tragicomic in everyday life. By constructing irrational physical objects with irrelevant functions, we construct a time span in which everyday situations and feelings can be channeled into an absurd moment. Through this process we point out the awkward and peculiar in the everyday.
