Suzanne Kim is the Director of Exhibitions at Smack Mellon, a non-profit gallery and Artist Studio Program in Dumbo Brooklyn. Ms. Kim is responsible for reviewing proposals from independent curators, reviewing artists' submissions and curating exhibitions. Ms. Kim works with the Executive Director in selecting the guest curated exhibitions, creating the exhibition schedule as well as producing all related press and printed materials for the Exhibition Program. Ms. Kim coordinates the shipping and receiving of artwork, hires preparators and freelance contractors and supervises installation of exhibitions with curators and artists. She is in charge of pricing, contracts, general communication and management of events and gallery rental.

Ms. Kim served on the selection committee to review applications from artists and organizations for the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's Swing Space program and has juried exhibitions for other organizations. Ms. Kim was a guest speaker at the Artist Opportunity Workshop at Dumbo Arts Center and served on the panel for artist residencies. Ms. Kim served as a "Doctor" panelist for NYFA's Doctoring Workshops for artists and has also participated in NYFA's Leadership Circle for Curators.
