In an effort to maintain a safe space for all visitors, artists, and staff, Smack Mellon encourages masks to be worn in its public spaces. We join our colleagues at other arts and culture institutions across the city in continuing these measures to ensure that all can safely participate in our programs. We appreciate your understanding and compliance as we navigate this next phase of the COVID-19 pandemic with our community’s health in mind.
Smack Mellon’s recommended COVID Courtesy Code:
Face Coverings: All visitors over 2 years old are encouraged to wear a mask.
Physical Distancing: Practice social distancing — keep 6 ft. between you and others who are not in your party.
Hand Hygiene: Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. When soap and running water are unavailable, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands that are visibly soiled.
If you feel sick or have a cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or trouble breathing, fever, chills, loss of smell, or muscle pain, or if you have been exposed to COVID-19, contact your health care provider, and please do not visit Smack Mellon.
We are working to keep you safe and healthy, but we cannot guarantee you won’t be exposed to COVID-19. By entering Smack Mellon, you assume the risk of such exposure.
At Smack Mellon, we celebrate diversity and are committed to working together to create a safe experience for our staff and visitors. We have a zero-tolerance policy for individuals who threaten or engage in verbal or physical harassment, discriminatory behavior, or otherwise interfere with the experience of others. Smack Mellon will deny entry to individuals who violate these policies.
